Storey Arms Residential Course
As an optional addition to the departments Outdoor Adventurous Activities unit of work, Mr Sage runs a week long trip to the Storey Arms Centre in the Brecon Beacons. Pupils experience a wide range of activities that include gorge walking, caving, rock climbing/abseiling, canoeing, orienteering, rope courses and night crossings!
Throughout this action-packed week (in chilly December!), pupils develop a variety of key skills which include:
Teamwork
Leadership
Communication skills (speaking and listening)
Problem solving
